Aggressive Black Rat Snake

Hiking through the fields we turned up two black rat snakes. The first was very calm, and was not at all concerned when we picked her up. This was the second. I simply went to touch her tail and she coiled right up, even struck my camera twice!

Just goes to show you, animals have just as much personality as we do!
